Mercari celebrated its twelfth anniversary on February 7 with a day full of special activities, including an opening ceremony, flea market, and party! The office was filled with smiles and excitement, making it a day to remember.

Opening ceremony: Looking toward the future!

11 AM at the 18th floor event space: The excitement in the air was palpable with anticipation from all the members gathered at the venue. Our Director, Representative Executive Officer and CEO Shin (Shintaro Yamada) and executive board members shared words of gratitude for the past 12 years and their passionate visions for the future, delivering an inspiring message to everyone present.

Flea market: Time for a treasure hunt and new finds!

2 PM at the Mercari office: The office space where we work every day was transformed into a bustling flea market! Employees went on a treasure hunt through tables packed with amazing finds just waiting to be discovered.

It’s party time: Cheers! Here’s to 12 years!

7 PM at the 18th floor event space: The party starts! We enjoyed delicious food and drinks while chatting the evening away with our fellow members who make Mercari.

In celebration of our 12th anniversary, Mercari employees shared a special day together that fueled us with anticipation for the future.  Moving forward, we will continue to strive toward achieving our mission to circulate all forms of value to unleash the potential in all people!
